Delaware County Businesses Fail Underage Alcohol Compliance Check

New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in Delaware County on July 21. 10 establishments were checked with ones in Roxbury and Arkville not in compliance. The employees at those businesses selling alcohol to the minor each were ticketed. Plain-clothed troopers accompany minors on the compliance checks. Plea Deal Possible In Schoharie Limo Case

Discussions are continuing between prosecutors in the 2018 fatal Schoharie limo crash and attorneys for the limo company owner facing 40 charges for allowing an unsafe vehicle to remain in service. The two sides met last week and will convene again on Thursday. Prosecutors say a court date may be set for September. Street Patching Continues In Oneonta

City of Oneonta crews continue work on patching several streets through Friday. Work typically starts around 7:00am and conclude by 3:30 p.m. each day. Small Plane Crashes In Bainbridge

A small aircraft crashed Sunday night in the Town of Bainbridge. State Police say the plane had a mechanical issue and hit a tree as well as becoming tangled in power lines,. Woman Killed In Westford Skydiving Accident

A woman is killed from a skydive in the town of Westford. State Police say 59-year-old Karen Bernard of Wildwood, Florida appeared to have a parachute malfunction in the Saturday morning incident that occurred in the area of County Road 34.
