A piece of construction equipment stolen earlier this month in the town of McDonough was located. According to the Chenango County Sheriff’s office the reported stolen Komatsu Excavator was recovered on Friday following an investigation. New Lisbon Man Faces Multiple Charges

Charges are brought against a New Lisbon man following a domestic dispute that occurred on July 14. Police say the 33-year-old man violated an active order of protection and was later located in Chenango County. A tour bus caught on fire Saturday on State Route 28 in the town of Otsego. Firefighters from Cooperstown and Hartwick Seminary responded along with Cooperstown and State Police. A Hamilton man faces charges for hitting another individual and using a wooden dowel to strike a dog. Police say it happened July 18 at an Earlville home and the victim was hospitalized. A 43-year-old man is facing charged following a domestic dispute in Pittsfield last week.
