Chenango County SO Participating In National Drug Take Back Day

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office will be accepting expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs at its semi-annual drug take back event on Saturday. NY Employers Can No Longer Test For Marijuana Use

Norwich Postpones Marijuana Sales Vote

The Norwich Common Council decides to postpone voting on allowing marijuana dispensaries to operate within city limits. According to published reports the council is favoring approval of pot sales but making on-site consumption illegal. Under state law municipalities have to opt-in or out on sales and consumption by the end of the year. Muehl Not Running For Re-Election

Otsego County District Attorney John Muehl announces he will not run for re-election in 2023. Parking Garage Middle Level Closing For Repairs Today and Tomorrow

City of Oneonta crews will be doing repairs on the middle level of the parking garage this Thursday and Friday between 5:00 a.m. and concluding each day around 1:30 p.m. As a result that level will be closed those days.
