A New Berlin teenager suffers life-threatening injuries in an ATV crash on Wednesday. Chenango County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Joshua Gould tells the Daily Star it happened off Martin Road when the ATV struck a tree. The 14-year-old was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital. A passenger didn’t appear to have been hurt but was hospitalized as a precaution. Gould says excessive speed led to the crash and foul play is not suspected nor is drug or alcohol use.
