Parking Garage Middle Level Closing For Repairs Today and Tomorrow

City of Oneonta crews will be doing repairs on the middle level of the parking garage this Thursday and Friday between 5:00 a.m. and concluding each day around 1:30 p.m. As a result that level will be closed those days. FUDR is Conducting Surveys For Recreation Plan

The Friends of the Upper Delaware River is developing a voluntary Recreational Plan for the River’s Tailwaters region, including the Towns of Colchester, Deposit and Hancock. A poll by Siena College Research Institute finds Governor Kathy Hochul is the favorite to win the Democratic nomination for governor in 2022. SUNY Oneonta has a new director of athletics. After a nationwide search the college chose Associate Direcxtor Ryan Hooper to succeed Tracey Ranieri who retired this past spring. Hooper became associate director 7 years ago after serving as assistant to the Director of Athletics at SUNY New Paltz. Sisters From Walton Raise Money For DCSO K-9 Program

A pair of sisters from Walton raised $900 for the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office K-9 program from their lemonade stand in September. Richelle and Delana Wood gave the proceeds to the department last Saturday and also gave K-9 Eli a toy. Sheriff Craig DuMond expressed his thanks and gratitude for the donation. Norwich Man Faces Falony Drug Charge

A Norwich man faces a felony charge in a drug sales investigation. Police say the Division St. resident was selling methamphetamine and was taken into custody on Monday.
