City of Oneonta crews will be doing repairs on the middle level of the parking garage this Thursday and Friday between 5:00 a.m. and concluding each day around 1:30 p.m. As a result that level will be closed those days. A poll by Siena College Research Institute finds Governor Kathy Hochul is the favorite to win the Democratic nomination for governor in 2022. SUNY Oneonta has a new director of athletics. After a nationwide search the college chose Associate Direcxtor Ryan Hooper to succeed Tracey Ranieri who retired this past spring. Hooper became associate director 7 years ago after serving as assistant to the Director of Athletics at SUNY New Paltz. A pair of sisters from Walton raised $900 for the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office K-9 program from their lemonade stand in September. Richelle and Delana Wood gave the proceeds to the department last Saturday and also gave K-9 Eli a toy. Sheriff Craig DuMond expressed his thanks and gratitude for the donation. A Norwich man faces a felony charge in a drug sales investigation. Police say the Division St. resident was selling methamphetamine and was taken into custody on Monday.
