Grand Gorge Man Killed In One-Vehicle Accident

A Grand Gorge man died in a one-vehicle crash. State Police say it happened on State Route 42 in the town of Lexington when the driver identified as Douglas Cronk left the highway and his pickup ended up in a creek. He died at the scene. Oneonta Police Officer Cleared In Fatal Shooting

A state Atttorney General investigation determines an Oneonta police officer was justified in the fatal shooting of Tyler Green last April. According to investigators Green pulled a knife on his partner and threatened to kill her. He was shot after swinging the knife at officers. Suspect Apprehended In Unadilla Man’s Death

A suspect is apprehended in the 2019 death of a Unadilla man. Jesse Donlin was reported missing in Sreptember of that year and an investigation determined a 26-year-old from Preston was responsible for Donlin’s death. NYSP Releases Thanksgiving Weekend Enforcement Results

State Police issued close to 13,000 traffic tickets during the Thanksgiving weekend enforcement period. Over 180 were arrested for DWI while more that 4600 were ticketed for speeding. In troop C which covers Otsego, Delaware and Chenango Counties there were 288 speeding tickets, 117 seat belt violations and 9 move over law citations.
