Voters in the Schenevus and Worcester school districts will decide if the two should become a single district. On Tuesday, the two districts each unanimously approved putting the proposed annexation merger to what’s being called a “straw vote” on Sept. 22. If that’s approved a formal vote will be tenatively scheduled for Dec. 3. If the merger vote does not receive majority voter approval in each district both maintain their current status.
