New Effort Invites Tourists To Paddle The 607

A new tourism effort is underway, in hopes of attracting people to Paddle The 607. Paddle the 607, a nod to our region’s area code, is being developed by local tourism leaders as a resource for paddling itineraries, access points and amenities along the Chemung and Susquehanna Rivers. A full map of the trail from Cooperstown to Corning is being developed. And nine sections of the river have already been identified as being completely ready for paddling right now.
