The Oneonta Common Council has scheduled a speciall-called meeting for Monday, March 18th at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the regular council chambers. The public agenda for this meeting says the council will discuss strategic planning with city staff members. On Wednesday, City Administrator Greg Mattice said the meeting’s purpose is not to discuss the 27 Market Street property development, but he would not elaborate. He also said there would not be any action taken at the specially-called meeting. The public agenda for the regular council meeting on Tuesday states that there will be an executive session to discuss a proposed purchase and sale agreement regarding the Market Street property.
