A Davenport man has been arrested for a 2022 larceny case out of Harpersfield. DA Shawn Smith says 48 year old Justin Valk appeared in court Monday, pleading guilty to second degree burglary. A jur trial as scheduled to begin today before Valk decided to change his plea. The prosecutor alleged that Valk traveled to a seasonal home at 226 County Route 30 with several others, intending to burglarize the home. While he stayed in the car, the DA said Valk knew what was going on, helped plan the crime, and did nothing to stop or report it.
