SUNY Oneonta Assistant AD Ryan Promoted To AD

SUNY Oneonta has a new director of athletics. After a nationwide search the college chose Associate Direcxtor Ryan Hooper to succeed Tracey Ranieri who retired this past spring. Hooper became associate director 7 years ago after serving as assistant to the Director of Athletics at SUNY New Paltz. Sisters From Walton Raise Money For DCSO K-9 Program

A pair of sisters from Walton raised $900 for the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office K-9 program from their lemonade stand in September. Richelle and Delana Wood gave the proceeds to the department last Saturday and also gave K-9 Eli a toy. Sheriff Craig DuMond expressed his thanks and gratitude for the donation. Norwich Man Faces Falony Drug Charge

A Norwich man faces a felony charge in a drug sales investigation. Police say the Division St. resident was selling methamphetamine and was taken into custody on Monday. Airports In Otsego & Chenango Counties Get State Grants

The state is giving a $900,000 grant to the Albert S. Nader Regional Airport in Otsego County to help pay for the relocation and modernization of the automated weather observing system. $200,000 was awarded to the Lt. Warren E.
