Oneonta Fire Under Investigation

Wrong Way Driver On State Route 17 Turns Out To Be Missing Man

A wrong- way driver on State Route 17 in Hancock turns out to be a missing 86-year-old man from Ithaca. According to Delaware County 911 around 30 calls came in and the man went about 18 miles into Sullivan County before he was stopped. No one was hurt. Valve Installation On Thursday at Upper West Street Near Ravine Parkway In Oneonta

City of Oneonta crews will be installing a new water main valve this Thursday on upper West Street near Ravine Parkway which limits traffic to one lane, Work begins at approximately 7:30 a.m. and while a complete water outage is not anticipated there may be disturbances in water pressure or water quality. Early voting is now under way through Oct. 31. In Otsego County go to the Board of Elections in Cooperstown or the Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta. Chenango County voters can go to the County Office building in Norwich. Delaware County early voting is at the Board of Elections office in Delhi.
