An Arkville man who’s already in jail now faces a new felony charge for violation a protection order brought by a domestic violence victim. Police say Israel Rivera is serving a criminal contempt sentence and mailed correspondence to the victim in violation of the order not to contact that individual. Rivera was arraigned via teleconference last Saturday and bail was set for the new charge.
