Cooperstown BOT Holds Public Hearing On Camera Use

The Cooperstown Board of Trustees holds another public hearing today on an ordinance covering use of stationary camera use in public places and the use of camera images. According to All Otsego the hearing is at 7:00 p.m. during the Board’s meeting.

Oneonta Awarding Microenterprise Grant

An attempted traffic stop in the City of Oneonta turns into a police pursuit with the driver now facing multiple charged. According to the Otsego County Sheriff’s office it happened last Monday and the chase went from the city to the Town of Oneonta.

Corbett Bridge Closed TFN

The Corbett Bridge on Corbett Road over the East Branch Delaware River is closed until further notice. According to the Delaware County Department of Public Works a structural issue was discovered on Saturday but no specifics were provided.

New Winner In Delhi Mayoral Race

The Delaware County Board of Elections announced a chnge in the Village of Delhi mayoral race. On Tuesaday Jessica Raber was named the winner but the recount gives the victory to Jeffrey Gearhart by a 1-vote margin.

Traffic Lights In Flash Mode At Oneonta Intersections

Traffic lights on Main Street in Oneonta at the intersections of Walling Avenue and 3rd Street are in flash mode. This has been done in conjunction with the construction at Main Street and Gardner Place. The lights will remain in flash mode through the project’s duration.

Morris Traffic Stop Becomes Drug Bust

A traffic stop in the Town of Morris turns into a drug bust. Otsego County Sheriff’ deputies stopped a speeding driver and found he had crack cocaine and MDMA. The man was booked and released pending a future court date.
