Schnectady Teens Charged In Oneonta Burglary

2 teenagers from Schnectady are charged in a town of Oneonta business burglary. Police say the duo several items from the business. Both were booked on larceny charges then released on their own recognizance pending future court dates.

Walmart Larceny Suspect Also Facing Drug Charges

The suspect in a Oneonta Walmart larceny ends up in more trouble as he possessed methamphetamine when he was arrested. Accoding to the Otesgo County Sheriff’s Office the man who is from Walton was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Man Charged In Davenport Domestic Dispute

A man is charged in a Town of Davenport domestic dispute. An investigation by Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies determined the man hit 2 childrten during the dispute. He was arrested then released pending a future court date. It’s not clear if anyone was hurt.

Man Charged In Edmeston Domestic Dispute

A man is facing multiple charges from a domestic incident in the Town of Edmeston. An Otsego County Sheriff’s investigation found the man choked a victim and damaged several items during the dispute. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant.

The Earlville Opera House receives a $50,000 state grant for repairs to its historic brick masonry which sustained damage over time due to rainwater runoff from roof drainage. A total of $42.3 million was awarded statewide to 144 small and medium size projects.

Otsego County Unemploym,ent At 3.6%

The state labor department reports Otsego County saw the biggest county drop in unemployment last month, down six-tenths of a percentage point at 3.8%. Otsego County was also the only county where the labor force grow in March, to 26,900 people.
