A man is facing charges from a Delaware County Sheriff’s investigation into a Town of Meredith domestic dispute. Deputiesa determined the man obstructed the breathing of the victim. The man was booked into jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.
Cooperstown’s Local Planning Commission meets tomorrow on allocating a $4.5 million award from the NY Forward program. The group is developing a Strategic Investment Plan and implement key catalytic projects to advance a community vision for downtown improvements.

You can add Schoharie County to the list of upstate counties declaring a state of emergency to prevent undocumented immigrants seeking asylum from being bussed there. Otsego County issued a similar declaration earlier this month. Schoharie County’s declaration is in effect until further notice.
A gun reported stolen out of Chenango County is found in Binghamton. Police say the loaded weapon was seized as a search warrant was executed at a Susquehanna St. apartment. A suspect is now facing multiple charges.
The driver indicyed for hitting a teenage pedestrian in Sidney earlier this year takes a plea deal. Prosecuotrs say Courtni Baker pleaded guilty to multiple charges for hitting the teen on Sharon Street as she was walkihng home from school. Sentencing is scheduled for September.

The City of Oneonta reminds residents that it’s the law to not store trash bins in front yards or on or along the front façade of a structure, building or property. If there’s public street frontage on multiple yards bins are to be stored out of the public viewd.
