State Police identified the man who drowned on Saturday in Canadarago Lake. David Morrissey of Mohawk was reported missing that morning after trying to retrieve his boat which had drifted. State Highway 28 in Meridale was closed for several hours late Thursday after an 18-wheeler rolled over. Police say it took over 7 hours to get the semi’s cargo unloaded so the the truck could be put back on its wheels. The driver identified as a man from Florida was hospitalized. A man drowned Saturday while attempting to retrieve a boat in Canadarago Lake. State Police say they were called after the man failed to resurface. Troopers were aided by park police and several fire department in the search for the man. His identity was not disclosed.
