NY’s COVID-19 Death Count Increases By 12,000

It turns out that New York has 12,000 more COVID-19 deaths than previously reported. Governor Kathy Hochul made the announcement on Wednesday saying the state is using figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Chenango County Reports 81st COVID-19 Related Death

The Chenango County Health Department reports an 81st death due to COVID-19 complications. Gender and age information was not provided and it’s not known if that individual had been vaccinated. State Police Search For Suspect In Otsego County Burglaries

State Police are looking for the suspect in a string of Otsego County auto parts burglaries. The first was on June 27 in Unadilla and a few hours later the man took items from an Oneonta auto dealer.
