The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Toys for Tots campaign is now under way. Collection bins will be in a number of businesses where new unwrapped toys can be donated. New York now has legislation preventing vehicles without functioning airbags from being sold. Under this legislation, certificates given to vehicle buyers must certify that the vehicle is equipped with an airbag, as well as a readiness indicator light that indicates the airbag is functioning. The Chenango County Historical Society announces that 2021 “Parade of Trees” running from Dec. 6 through Jan. 6, will again be a virtual event. Felony charges are brought in a Town of Plainfield domestic dispute. Police say a man from West Winfield violated a protection order and damaged property also in violation of the order. The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a dog which appeared to have been shot.
