NY Requires Functioning Airbags In Vehicles Being Sold

New York now has legislation preventing vehicles without functioning airbags from being sold. Under this legislation, certificates given to vehicle buyers must certify that the vehicle is equipped with an airbag, as well as a readiness indicator light that indicates the airbag is functioning. NY Gets Funding to Strengthen the State’s Mental Health Peer Workforce

CCHS ‘Parade of Trees’ Returns

The Chenango County Historical Society announces that 2021 “Parade of Trees” running from Dec. 6 through Jan. 6, will again be a virtual event. Man Faces Felony Charges In Plainfield Domestic Dispute

Felony charges are brought in a Town of Plainfield domestic dispute. Police say a man from West Winfield violated a protection order and damaged property also in violation of the order. The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a dog which appeared to have been shot.
