Oneonta Mayor Gary Herzig announced the city will spend the rest of its 2021 American Rescue Plan Act funding on expanding opportunities to enjoy healthy outdoor activities. 2 Tops Sotres To Become Grand Union

Now that the merger between Price Chopper and Tops Markets is complete there will be changes to the Tops stores in Norwich and Cooperstown. Those locations will become Grand Union stores as the new company is forced to divest the stores as a condition of the merger. The change takes effect next year. Cooperstown To Vote Next Month On Marijuana Sanes

Next month the Cooperstowm Board of Trustees will vote on prohibiting cannabis sales. According to All Otsego a public hearing on the law will take place before the vote. 2 More COVID-19 Deaths In Delaware County

Delaware County Public Health reports 2 more residents died from COVID-19 related complications. It’s not clear if either were vaccinated. There’s been 67 COVID-19 related deaths. Otsego and Chenango Counties reported no additional COVID-19 deaths. Delaware County will hold a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on November 18 with details forthcoming.

Section Of Dietz St. Closed Next Week

A heads up if you use Dietz St. in Oneonta between Main St. and Wall St. Next week that section will be closed while a private contractor does work usilizing a crane.
