The trial of a Deposit man accused of shooting a State Trooper is now underway. Prosecutors say Scott Mawhiney opened fire when the trooper arrived to investigate a domestic abuse call. State Senators Ask Feds To Prioritize Chip Shipments

State Senators Peter Oberacker and Joseph Griffo sent a letter to the federal government asking that they prioritize the delivery of computer chips used by snowplows to state and local Departments of Public Works.
