Officer In Charge David Kaminski tells 12 News they are seeking a new officer to replace a recent retiree along with filling other openings. A Kentucky-based freight shipping and trucking company and its vice-president are indicted for for illegally dumping contaminated railroad ties treated with hazardous materials in Chenango County and creating fake scale tickets to conceal the illegal disposal. SUNY Oneonta is conducting a nationwide search for its next Chief of Police. Officials say a search committee comprised of faculty, staff and students is in place and they will work with search firm Spelman Johnson, The goal is to have a new chief in place by July.
