A State Police investigation into a January break-in at a Hartwick home determines the incident was mon-criminal. I was determined that a injured resident had fallen and was not assaulted. New York’s Interstate Task Force on Illegal Guns has removed more than 1,750 weapons in the 3 months since it started. That’s according to Gov. Fire destroyed a Laurens home on Friday. According to officials the Main St. home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived and the blaze was declared under control in about 3 hours. The residents were not home but 5 pets perished. The Red Cross helped the residents find a place to stay.
