Hochul Announces Successful Start to Interstate Task Force on Illegal Guns

Fire Destroys Laurens Home

Fire destroyed a Laurens home on Friday. According to officials the Main St. home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived and the blaze was declared under control in about 3 hours. The residents were not home but 5 pets perished. The Red Cross helped the residents find a place to stay. Cobleskill Woman Killed In Thruway Crash

A woman from Cobleskill is one of 2 people killed in a multi-vehicle crash last Wednesday in Albany County. Police say a semi truck that failed to slow for congested traffic hit 4 vehicles then hit the one driven by Courtney Mahar. 4 people were injured.
