The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office adds a trailer to its Traffic Safety Program. It will carry traffic safety equipment and supplies for the Child Passenger Car Seat Program, Traffic Safety programs and educational displays. A fire that destroyed 3 downtown Worcester buildings earlier this month is ruled accidental. According to investigators a malfunction electric appliance inside a store at 143 Main St. started the blaze. The fire destroyed that store and 2 other businesses plus damaged the Worcester Historical Society and another business. Delaware County Undersheriff Timothy Buckley announced he is retiring effective May 21. Buckley initiated his Law Enforcement Career in 1996 working for various municipal Police Departments in Delaware and Chenango Counties.
