Sherburne Man Brings Loaded Gun To Syracuse Airport

A Sherburne man is in trouble for trying to bring a loaded gun in his carry-on baggage at Hancock International Airport in Syracuse. Authorities say the man told them he forgot to take the weapon out after using the bag while on a hike. The weapon was confiscated. Chenango County Collects Over A Quarter-Ton Of Unwanted Prescriptions

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Norwich City Police Department and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency, collected 27 large cartons of prescription medications last Saturday during National Drug Take-Back Day. New York is making $15 million available to help low-income residents who suffer from serious health issues and who are affected by heat to obtain assistance to pay for cooling equipment. Hartwick Man Arrested For Business Burglaries

Another suspect is charged in a spree of Otsego County business burglaries that happened in March and April. According to the Sheriff’s Office the man from Hartwick was taken into custody last Friday and is being held pending arraignment. The first suspect was arrested last month.
