SUNY Oneonta has partnered with the Special Olympics to hold a regional track and field event for individuals to showcase their athletic ability and compete against each other in various running and field events. Delgado To Become Lt. Governor

19th District U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado gives up his congressional seat to become New York’s Lieutenant Governor. Chenango County Underage Drinking Detail Results In 3 Violators

State Police conducted an underage drinking detail in Chenango County and of the 13 businesses checked 3 in Norwich were in violation. During the detail retail establishments are checked using a trooper in plain clothes and one or several underaged operatives who cannot lie about their age. Another Redistricting Map Lawsuit Filed

Another lawsuit is filed over the dispute in New York’s redrawn state senate and congressional districts. This new litigation seeks to restore the maps toosed out by a state appeals court because according to the plaintiffs there isn’t enough time to redo the maps for upcoming elections. Sidney Woman Charged With Sending Indecent Material To Minor

A woman from Sidney is facing a felony charge after a police investigation determined she sent inappropriate messages and.or indecent material to an individual under 18. Norwich Working On Clean Energy Designation

City of Norwich officials are working on obtaining a Clean Energy Community designation from the state Energy Research and Development Authority.
