Fireworks Over the Fairgrounds will be returning to the Chenango County Fairgrounds on July 4 after a 2-year absence due to the pandemic. Ryan To Run For 19th District Congressional Seat

Ulster County Executive Patrick Ryan is the Democratic nominee to run in the August 23 special election to fill the remainder of former 19th District Congressman Antonio Delgado’s term. DVH Main Entrance Closed For 3 Weeks

Beginning today the main entrance to UHS Delaware Valley Hospital will be closed for approximately 3 weeks, while workers install new, heated pavement and a canop. Fire Damages Burlington Home

Fire broke out at a Burlingtonhome on Friday. It happened on County Highway 16 and according to police the homeowner first tried to put out the fire on his own but when it grew they called 9-1-1. SNAP Recipients To Get Additional Food Assistance

Those enrolled in the state’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will receive the maximum allowable level of food benefits for June.
