The Schoharie restaurant where 2 pedestrians were killed in the 2018 limo crash settles lawsuits brought by the victim’s estates. According to the Daily Gazette the owners of the Apple Barrel country store and cafe are paying a half-million dollars in the settlement. The 2 died when the limo hit a parked car. Colosi Named Afton Schools Superintendent

The Afton Central School District names Nicholas A. Colosi as Superintendent. According to the Evening Sun he is the high school principal in the Sherburne-Earlville School District. Colosi’s experience includes nearly a decade-and-a-half as a science teacher. He starts his new role on July 18. Bear Sightings Reported In Norwich

There’s been a second black bear sighting in Norwich. According to WSYR this latest one was on Sunday off off Aldrich Road. 2-Brothers Arrested In Oneonta Homicide

Oneonta Police announce 2 arrests are made in the stabbing death of Kaleb O’Neill. The suspects are brothers and both were apprehended last Thursday then arraigned in City of Oneonta Court. Both are in the Otsego County jail and are due back in court this Wednesday. Source: Press release
