Otsego County DOH Holds Rabies Clinic On July 12

The Otsego County Department of Health is holding a free rabies clinic on July 12 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Edmeston Town Barn. Dogs, cats and ferrets are eligible for the vaccine. Sickles Names Cobleskill-Richmondville Schools Superintendent

Matt Sickles is named as the superintendent of Cobleskill-Richmondville schools. According to the Times-Journal he is currently the superintendent at Midlakes Central School in the Finger Lakes area. The board started with 12 “good quality” candidates before narrowing the list to three. Sickles’ first day at his new job is July 1. Oneonta workers will be temporarily turning off water service today to parts of Cherry Street to allow the new water main on West Street to be connected to the existing water mains.
