Norwich On Track For Federal Water Main Grant

The City of Norwich is on track to receive a federal grant for a water main replacement. According to Congresswoman Claudia Tenney’s office the House Appropriations Committee approved the funding for fiscal year 2023 The committee okayed 14 projects in Tenney’s district worth over $27 million. Applications Open for Exams to Pursue Careers in Law Enforcement

Applications are now accepted for hundreds of entry-level law enforcement positions at the Department of Environmental Conservation, SUNY and State Parks. Qualified candidates can apply online until Wednesday, August 3 and register to take a civil service exam while takes place this fall. The positions will be filled over the next year. The Friends of Recovery of Delaware and Otsego Counties Norwich community recovery center served nearly 125 people in its first month of operation.
