The Susquehanna SPCA is working to help find homes for 12 dogs that would do best in families without small children or other pets. The Delaware County Sheriff’s office promotes 2 deputies to the rank of Sergeant. Tyler McAteer, a 7-year veteran is assigned to the Law Enforcement Road Patrol Division. Personnel from State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office visited the Hancock Fire Department to follow up on changes made since a 2019 audit. Auditors determined the department made limited progress implementing corrective action. Nearly $3 million is awarded to the area Workforce Development Board to help connect job seekers with high-demand industries.
