Fire Destroys Pharsalia Barn

A barn on State Route 23 in North Pharsalia was destroyed by fire on Wednesday. According to the Evening Sun first-arriving crews found the barn fully engulfed so reinforcements were called in. No imjuries were reported but at least one calf and possibly other small livestock died. NYSSA Unveils Mental Health Program For First Responders

The New York State Sheriff’s Association unveils a new mental health awareness program for first responders. The program is in partnership with AT&T First Net and includes crisis and trauma training; PTSD awareness; suicide prevention and a peer-to-peer hotline which can be utilized internally or with a department in another county. Otsego County OFA Offering Farmer’s Market Checks

The Otsego County Office for the Aging announced it is offering farmers’ market checks for income-eligible seniors age 60 and older. Delhi Shooting Threat Turns Out False

A shooting threat on Wednesday at the Delaware County Court House turned out to be false.
