A man from Wright faces multiple felony charges for firing a gun during a domestic dispute. State Police say the man fired the gun while he and the victim were having an argument. No one was hurt. The State Department of Health reviewed and approved Quest Diagnostics’ recent application for testing to identify monkeypox. The testing gives providers another option when it comes to labs that can process samples and detect the Monkeypox virus. As of Monday New York has a total of 1,111 confirmed monkeypox cases. A car-truck crash on State Route 23 in Roxbury results in a woman’s death. According to State Police the 79-year-old woman was traveling east when she went into the westbound lanes and hit the truck head-on. She died at the scene.
