Man Charged In Sidney Home Burglary

A suspect is charged in a July theft at a Sidney home. A Delaware County Sheriff’s Office investigation determined the man went to the Fox Farm Road residence and stole unidentified items. The man who is from Delhi was booken and released pending a future court appearance.

DCSO Holding Open House Today

In honor of National Sheriff’s Week, Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond and the members of the Sheriff’s Office are hosting an Open House event today from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at their office on Phoebe Lane in Delhi. There will be live demonstrations and other activities.

DOH Expands Monkeypox Vaccine Access

The State Department of Health expands monkeypox vaccine access to all individuals at risk of becoming infected. This includes people with recent exposure to a suspected or confirmed case within the past 14 days. People with known exposure should work directly with their local health department and healthcare provider to discuss obtaining the vaccine.

Culvert Work Closes Delhi Road

A section of County Route 16 in the town of Delhi is closed today so crews can replace a culvert pipe. The closure is about three-quarters of a mile north of the intersection with Sutherland Road. In case of rain the work will be done tomorrow.
