A pair of Delaware County Correctional Facility inmates face additional charges after an investigation into a assault at the facility last week. The investigation determined the 2 men attacked and punched another inmate, causing injuries. Both were arraigned for second degree assault.
New details are released in an animal cruelty investigation at a town of Butternuts farm. According to the Otsego County Sheriff’s office the animal’s owner was offered help months before the animals were seized 2 weeks ago. She is now facing 9 counts of animal cruelty.
A contractor is doing asphalt repair work this morning at the intersection of Chestnut St and West St. This intersection will be reduced to one lane while work is being completed. OPT Bus’s SUNY Route will be detoured to Church Street while the work is under way.

The Electronic Accessible Ballot Delivery System is available at absenteeballot.elections.ny.gov. Voters will receive a secure envelope to return their ballot.
The City of Oneonta is closing the upper and lower levels of the Main Street Parking Garage today through Friday as a contractor will be working on repairs to some of the support members next to the upper level down ramp. The closure is between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Commerce Chenango names Gladding Braided Products as its 2022 Manufacturer Of The Year. According to the Evening Sun Gladding will be honored at the first annual Manufacturer Appreciation Luncheon October 6.
