Fire Subdued at Battery Cell Factory

Firefighters responded Monday morning to a report of a fire at Endicott’s lithium ion-battery factory. The factory had a piece of machinery on fire on its assembly line. After firefighters arrived, they observed smoke, but no flames. Employees had dumped an extinguisher on the fire before exiting the building.

Found in possession narcotics

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of the 48 year old Billie A. Police charge man with murder

The Utica Police Department has announced they have made an arrested in the shooting investigation that killed 24-year-old Kaeron Henderson in West Utica on Sunday, November 20th. According to police, after an interview and investigation, the Major Crimes Unit has identified 20-year-old Dontay Horning of Utica as their prime suspect. He has been arrested.

Burglary & Grand Larceny

The Village of Sidney Police Department arrested two Oxford men on burglary & grand larceny charges, following an investigation of a burglary of a house on Patterson Street in Sidney. A car trailer, 2 ATV’s & a number of Tools were taken from the property.

Expected to plead guilty

19 year old Payton Gendron of Conklin is expected to plead guilty today in Erie County Court, for fatally shooting 10 people & injuring 3 others, in a racist attack on a buffalo Tops Supermarket in a predominantly Black Neighborhood May 14th. Fight Breaks Out

Vestal police are investigating after a fight occurred at the Kampai Japanese Steakhouse Thursday night. Just after 10 p.m., four men entered the restaurant and began fighting with members of a large party. The four men left the scene before police arrived.
