A town of Laurens woman apprehended for animal cruelty ends up in more trouble after she attempted to kick the rear windows out of the patrol vehicle causing damage to the doors. Police say she then caused additional damage while being booked. She’s been released on her own recognizance.

Oneonta Fatal Fire Victim Identified

The identity of the man killed in a Christmas Day fire at his Oneonta home has been released. State Police say a search of the Oneida Street mobile home resulted in the discovery of 50-year-old Aaron S. Blakeslee along with the remains of 3 pets. The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
