NY Enacts Utility Debt Relief Program

The State Public Service Commission approved a debt relief program to help residents and small businesses pay off past-due electric and gas utility bills thast resulted from the pandemic. The program will provide $672 million to prevent them from losing service. Officials say it’s the largest financial assistance program in the state’s history.

Schoharie County Child Sex Suspect Apprehended In Kansas

The suspect in a Schoharie County child sex investigation is apprehended in Kansas. Police in Shawnee say they were contacted by the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office that the suspect may be in their jurisdiction. The 28-year-old suspect was taken into custody without incident.

New Jersey Warriors Coming To Cooperstown

A hockey team composed of disabled U.S. military veterans will visit Cooperatown next month. All Otsego reports the New Jersey Warriors will be here for a benefit on February 17. The group will get a tour of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, and then play a game at Badger Park.
