Woman Charged In Store Burglary

A woman is charged with felony burglary after hiding in a Cobleskill store until it closed then stole multiple items. The woman who is from Richmondville then ran from the store but was caught a short distance away and taken into custody. She is free on her own recognizance.

Western New York residents were jarred awake Monday morning from a 3.8 magnitude earthquake. It was centered southeast of Buffalo and no major damage or injuries were reported. It’s said to be the strongest earthquake in 4 decades and lasted just a few seconds.

The audit covered financial records from Jan. 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.Auditors recommended the town consult with legal counsel in connection with each proposed donation.

A man from the Town of Pittsfield is facing a second-degree harrassment charge from an Otsego County Sheriff’s investigation. The incident happened last month in the Town of Butternuts. The man is to appear at the Town of Butternuts Court at a later date.

A domestic dispute in the town of Milford results in a man jailed on $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 bond. Police say the man from Milford violated a protection order and that’s when the dispute happened. The man is charged with 2 counts of second degree Criminal Contempt.

DCSO Makes Donation To County Veterans Service Agency

Members of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office presented Delaware County Veterans Service Agency Director Charles W. Piper, with a donation totaling $1,690. The donation was from employees of the Corrections Division and the Road Patrol/Criminal Investigation Division The donation was made on Wednesday.
