Sherburne Burglaries Suspect Indicted

A Chenango County grand jury indicts a man in a string of commercial break-ins in downtown Sherburne last year. According to the Evening Sun the man stole small amounts of money from each victim and did much more in property damage. The man was arraigned then jailed with no bail.

Hancock Man Charged With Having Unbderage Sex

A man is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Sexual Misconduct from a Delaware County Sheriff’s investigation into a Town of Hancock incident. Deputies determined a a 19-year-old man was having sex with a 15-year-old girl at his home. The man is free pending a future court date.

Hartwick Offer4ing 5 New Minors

Hartwick College offers five new computer-based minors to its academic programs. Students can now add a minor in game development, cybersecurity, data analysis, web design or digital marketing. Course work will be hybrid, with on-campus offerings as well. Visit hartwick.edu for details.

Schoharie Now Offers Free WiFi

The Village of Schoharie now offers free wi-fi internet access. It provides open internet access to more than 400 households and 800 residents with the majority being low-to-moderate income. The project was funded by NYS Homes and Community Renewal.
