A fight between a couple in the village of Hobart results in a woman facing charges. Police separated the couple and after conducting interviews charged her with criminal mischief. She is due in court at a later date.

Area Unemploment Drops In February

February unemployment in Otsego County dropped to 4.4% from the January rate of 5.1%. Chenango County’s rate is down to 4.1% from 4.3% and in Delaware County it’s down to 4.5% from 5.1%. The state unemployment is 4.2% which is unchanged.
