Cooperstown Trustees Approve New Camera Law

By a vote of 5 to 1 the Cooperstown Village Board of Trustees approved a policy for fixed video-only cameras to be installed in four public locations. All Otsego reports the vote came after a well-attended public hearing on Monday.

An investigation is under way into a loud noise in Oxford Wednesday evening that shook homes and was heard for miles around. Chenango County Undersheriff Joshua Gould tells the Evening Sun they’ve been unable toi find the sound’s source that some residents described as an explosion.

Injured Bald Eagle In Gilboa Flies Again

A three-year-old bald eagle found nearly lifeless in the town of Gilboa is able to fly once again. It was found in a snowbank on Flat Creek Road. After more than 60 days in recovery it was released back into the wild.

NYSP Looking To ID Norwich Car Vandals

NY Gets Federal Funding For Broadband Expansion

New York is getting $100 million in federal funding to expand broadband internet infrastructure and provide high quality internet to underserved homes across the state. The money will anable connections to 100,000 homes in rural areas.

Walton Woman Charged In Domestic Incident

A woman from Walton is charged in a domestic incident. A Delaware County Sheriff’s investigation determined the woman made threats to cause bodily harm to another individual. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the vectim.
