By a vote of 5 to 1 the Cooperstown Village Board of Trustees approved a policy for fixed video-only cameras to be installed in four public locations. All Otsego reports the vote came after a well-attended public hearing on Monday.

A woman from Walton is charged in a domestic incident. A Delaware County Sheriff’s investigation determined the woman made threats to cause bodily harm to another individual. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the vectim.
Hancock School District students were dismissed early on Tuesday after a police investigation led to a series of proactive safety measures at the school. No specifics were provided on what led to the actions. Classes resumed as normal on Wednesday.
