Hussein Trial Opening Arguments Under Way

Prosecutors in the Nauman Hussain trial say the former limo operator bears “personal responsibility” for the deaths when the vehicle crashed in Schoharie. Hussein faces 20 counts of criminally negligent homicide in the 2018 crash that killed 18 in the limo and 2 bystanders.

Officials say the garage remauins closed until it can be re-evaluated by the city’s structural engineer. The bus terminal will remain open.

Homeless Man Arrested After Norwich Standoff

A homeless man is apprehended on multiple charges after holding Norwich Police at bay for several hours. Police say the man barricaded himself in a Henry Street apartment’s closet. After surrendering he was turned over to Sidney Police.
