GOHS History After Hours Is Back In June

Man Killed In Middletown Collision

A man is killed in a 2-car crash at the intersection of Thompson Hollow Road and Jensen Road in the Town of Middletown. Police say John C. Todd of Roxbury died at the scene while the other driver was extricated from their vehicle.

Missing Andes Hikers Found Safe

A pair of hikers who were overdue on their return are found safe. Authorities were called to the Little Pond Campground in Andes after receiving a report of the two overdue hikers and a search began that continued overnight. The two were found the next morning.

Brush Fire In Blenheim

A brush fire broke out last week in Blenheim. State Forest Rangers were called in to help the Blenheim Fire Department get the North Road fire under control. An investigation determined an ash from a resident brning brush caused the fire.

Oberacker Honors Fallen EMS Heroes

State Senator Peter Oberacker delivered remarks during the Emergency Medical Services Memorial dedication ceremony on Tuesday. It remembersg fallen EMS providers in observance of EMS Week. The EMS Memorial features a large granite tablet with a graceful and flowing “Tree of Life” engraved on its surface.

Man Charged In Meredith Domestic Dispute

A man is facing charges from a Delaware County Sheriff’s investigation into a Town of Meredith domestic dispute. Deputiesa determined the man obstructed the breathing of the victim. The man was booked into jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.

SUNY Oneonta’s Move-Out Shopping Event Is Today

You can shop for gently-used items today that were donated by SUNY Oneonta students following the campus’ annual Move-Out Donation and Reuse collection at the Arc Otsego ReUse Center on Duane Street in Oneonta. The sale begins at 9:00 a.m.

Schoharie County Declares SOE

You can add Schoharie County to the list of upstate counties declaring a state of emergency to prevent undocumented immigrants seeking asylum from being bussed there. Otsego County issued a similar declaration earlier this month. Schoharie County’s declaration is in effect until further notice.
