A man is charged with stealing a dump trailer from a Hasrtwick residence. Police say the man who is from Waterford sold the trailer via social medial and it was recovered in the City of Troy. The trailer was returned to the owner.
Literacy Volunteers of Otsego and Delaware Counties receives a $10,000 grant to support its programs. According to a news release the grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation is part of more than $13 million throughout the 47 states where the retailer operates.

2 people are injured in a Cherry Valley motorcycle crash on Tuesday. State Police say the 2 were both ejected when the motorcycle hit a pickup truck on Route 20. One person was airlifted to Albany Medical Center and the other was brought to Bassett Hospital.

The pilot killed in a Norwich plane crash is identified as Shawn McMahon of Binghamton. Acording to the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office said tMcMahon was the only occupant of the single-emgine aircraft and died at the scene.The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
