Walton Man Jailed On DV Guilty Plea

It’s 6 month in jail for a Walton man pleading guilty to felony charges. Prosecutors say Scott J. Conrad Jr. admitted that he kicked down the door of his ex-girlfriend’s house and spat on her after an altercation. Conrad will be on 5 years probation after his release.

2 Injured In Cherry Valley Motorcycle Crash

2 people are injured in a Cherry Valley motorcycle crash on Tuesday. State Police say the 2 were both ejected when the motorcycle hit a pickup truck on Route 20. One person was airlifted to Albany Medical Center and the other was brought to Bassett Hospital.

Hussein Gets 5-15 Year Sentence

Former limo company owner Naumann Hussein is sentenced to 5 to 15 years in jail on his conviction on charges from the 2018 Schoharie limo crash that killed 20 people. Hussain’s lawyersaid he plans to file an appeal.

Fire Damages DelCo Structures

A fire damaged multiple structure in Delaware County on Wednesday. Authorities say it was in the 1000 block of State Highway 203 between Masonville and Walton. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.

Pilot Identified In Fatal Norwich Crash

The pilot killed in a Norwich plane crash is identified as Shawn McMahon of Binghamton. Acording to the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office said tMcMahon was the only occupant of the single-emgine aircraft and died at the scene.The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.

Hancock Man Sentenced On Child Sex Abuse Charges

A man from Hancock convicted of child sexual abuse is sentenced to 7 years in jail. Prosecutors say Jason P. Dufton engaged in at least two acts of sexual conduct with a child under the age of 110. DMV Cracking Down On Fake License Plates

The Department of Motor Vehicles is cracking down on the use of fake license plates. The agency is woreking with local law enforcement to catch those using the fake plates to among other things avoid tolls, vehicle registration fees and avoid detection from law enforcement.
