Friends of Recovery- Delaware Otsego recently collaborated with Delaware County Public Health Services to offer people a scientific understanding behind addiction and recovery. Participants were given a with a safe space so they could discuss their personal battles with addiction while being offered multiple resources.

The Delaware County Historical Association in Delhi is conducting a Civil War reenactment on Sarurday abb Sunday. A welfare check in the town of Oneonta ends up with a 70-year-old man facing a drug charge. Police say an investigation determined he illegally possessed a controlled substance. The man was booked then released on his own recognizance.
The eastbound lane of Main Street in Oneonta will be closed starting tomorrow from Chestnut Street to Dietz Street from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on weekdays for a water and gas service install. The work will continue until July 14.
A traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle in Stafford ends up with a mother and son facing drug charges. Police say the vehicle was uninspected and had switches license plates. The two who are from Deposit may faxe additional charges as the investigation continues.
