Governor Kathy Hochul confirmed there are five cases of the Omicron COVID-19 variant in New York. Other reported cases are in California, Colorado and Minnesota. The Schenevus Central School district and the Worcester Central School district will not be merging after Schenevus voters rejected it this week. According to All Otsego Worcester voters voted in favor of combining the 2 districts. Schenevus school officials could hold a re-vote within a year’s time.
