The Village of Stamford remains under a Boil Water advisory because of a water main break. Officials say it happened a week ago Monday under the Delaware River. DCSO Deputy Promoted To Lieutenant

A more than 2-decade Delaware County Sheriff’s Office deputy is promoted to Lieutenant. Joe Mauro began as a corrections officer and is now a special investigator. Lt. Mauro will now command the Road Patrol, Criminal Investigations and Civil Enforcement Divisions. He was sworn in last week. Source: Press release

Long River Inn Bridge Is Back Open

The bridge at Route 357 and Route 7 near Unadilla also known as the “Long River Inn Bridge” is back open. The span over the Susquehanna River between Delaaware and Otsego Counties was closed last July for a $1.1 million rehabilitation and repair project. U.S. Supreme Court Rejects Healthcare Worker COVID-19 Vaccine Appeal

Bassett Birthing Center Receives Crochet Donations

Bassett Medical Center’s Birthing Center receives a donation of crocheted infant blankets, headbands, and hats. The items were made by the women of Delta Pod at the Delaware County Correctional Facility over the course of eighteen months. New Mask Mandate Starts Today
