The City of Oneonta is offering additional off-street parking at the Damaschke Field Parking Lot in Neahwa Park during declared snow emergencies. A Delaware County Jail inmate who completed his sentence ends up back behind bars but this time in Chenango County. The Delaware County Sheriff’s office says they were notified the man had an outstanding warrant. He was then turned over to the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office. The Community Foundation of Otsego County names former Cooperstown Mayor Jeff Katz as its executive director. Katz tells All Otsego he plans to cnnect non-profits with the resources they need to solve their problems. The Foundation awarded a quarter-million dollars from 2020 until this year. Chenango County Gets Grant To Upgrade Lighting At Norwich Airport

The Chenango County Department of Planning and Development reaches its 25-subscriber goal for its their Community Solar Campaign. This means the county can apply for grants from the state Energy Research and Development Authority’s Clean Energy Communities program. $15,000 is awarded for LED lighting upgrades at Norwich airport. Oneonta Common Council To Hold Sewer Rate Hike Hearing

A public hearing on a proposed sewer rate hike in Oneonta takes place at next Tuesday’s City Council meeting. The 2022 budget includes the 10% increase but before it can be implemented the council is required to pass a law. The hearing will take place at 7:00 p.m.

New York allocates $100 million to help homeless individuals and families leave the shelter system for a permanent home by providing rental assistance. Sidney Police Define Legal Weapons Firing

Sidney Police say they have recently had a lot of inquiries about what type of weapons can be fired within village limits.
